About The Role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at The Amazon Guru, you will play a key role in building a high-performing team by overseeing the recruitment process from start to finish. Your expertise will be instrumental in attracting and securing top talent across multiple departments. By gaining a deep understanding of the company’s core values, mission, and culture, you will evaluate candidates not only for their technical skills but also for their alignment with the organization’s cultural fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Profile Understanding: Collaborate with hiring managers to clearly understand the requirements of each role, ensuring proper documentation and format are followed.
- Market Identification: Research and identify relevant talent markets based on the latest requirements, posting job opportunities aligned with profile needs.
- End-to-End Recruitment: Execute the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening and shortlisting
- Timely Resource Fulfilment: Facilitate prompt hiring during peak seasons for key functions, supporting the “People on Demand” initiative.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate complex interviews, ensuring effective communication between hiring managers, leadership, and candidates.
- Pre-brief and De-brief Sessions: Organize and facilitate pre-briefing and de-briefing sessions for internal and external hires to align expectations and gather feedback.
- Process Automation Initiatives: Implement automation solutions to minimize last-minute declines by interviewers, effectively reducing turnaround time (TAT) for interview loops.
- Job Postings Management: Oversee external job postings on platforms like LinkedIn and internal job boards; address recruitment inquiries from applicants in India.
- Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment journey, from sourcing through onboarding.
Skills Required
- Recruitment Expertise – Proficiency in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and offer discussions.
- Candidate Sourcing – Ability to research and identify talent markets and leverage job boards, social media, and networks to attract top candidates.
- Communication Skills – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with candidates, hiring managers, and leadership effectively.
- Process Automation – Familiarity with implementing automation solutions to streamline recruitment processes and reduce turnaround times.
- Project Management - Experience using tools like Asana for tracking recruitment tasks and goals, and Slack for communication.
- Job Postings Management – Ability to manage job postings on multiple platforms and address recruitment inquiries efficiently.
- Time Management – Strong time management skills to handle multiple recruitment projects and meet hiring deadlines, especially during peak seasons.
- Cultural Fit Evaluation – Ability to assess candidates not only for technical skills but also for alignment with the company’s culture and values.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a focus on end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Experience in hiring across various levels, including mid-management and senior leadership roles.
- Proven experience working with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and other recruitment software tools.
- Prior experience in high-volume hiring and managing multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
