Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Spanish Language Expert to join us as a panelist for candidate interviews. The ideal individual will bring a high level of fluency in Spanish and English and possess a keen eye for detail in content review, translation, and localization. As a language specialist, your insights and feedback will play a key role in evaluating candidate proficiency, accuracy, and cultural relevance in both written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with potential candidates to assess their Spanish language proficiency.
• Evaluate candidates’ translation skills from English to Spanish and vice versa.
• Provide structured feedback and assessment reports post-interview.
• Assess candidates on grammar, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and cultural relevance.
• Align interview assessments with the project-specific language requirements.
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to improve the candidate selection process.

Ideal Candidate ProfileEducation:

• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Linguistics, Translation Studies, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:

• 4 to 5 years of professional experience in Spanish content review, translation, or a related role.
• Prior experience in interviewing or evaluating language professionals is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

• Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Strong grammar, vocabulary, and contextual understanding of both languages.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word & Excel).
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to assess content for tone, consistency, and cultural appropriateness.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
