Position: Legal Executive

Location: Mumbai, Andheri East

Salary: 5 LPA - 5.5 LPA

Experience: 3-5 Years Immediate

Synopsis:

We are actively seeking a dynamic legal executive to oversee contract drafting, reviews, and negotiations, ensuring strict compliance and meticulous filing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the documentation process, adeptness in legal research, and effective coordination with stakeholders. Strong experience in legal compliance is essential, coupled with exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach.

A Day in Your Life:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and documents for customers, vendors, and partners, ensuring prompt execution.
• Track the execution of final agreements and ensure proper filing of all executed agreements/amendments.
• Maintain records of executed documents/agreements and oversee their renewals.
• Address concerns from employees, customers, or vendors regarding documentation/processes.
• Draft legal correspondence, gather information, and respond to legal issues related to vendors, customers, and employees.
• Conduct legal research on key projects or topics undertaken by the department/company.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders on various matters and maintain tracking for them.
• Support the team during internal and external audits.
• Timely update legal trackers, folders, and legal drafts.

Skills in the Spotlight:

• Relevant experience in IT Services and SAAS Agreements, with knowledge of IT business-related US and EU laws, GDPR, ISO, and data protection addendum, as well as Intellectual Property Laws, Liability, and indemnity.
• Experience in both IT SaaS product and services business with global clients, SMEs, freelancers, partners, vendors, and employees.
• Bachelor or Master of Laws and Certification in Intellectual Property Rights and GDPR.
• Exposure to legal documentation.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and handle ambiguous situations.
• Strong communication, organizational, verbal & written skills.
• High degree of responsibility and ownership, with strong multitasking, coordination, and tenacity.
• Ability to understand issues from a business perspective and balance them with legal requirements.
• Highly ethical, fair, proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
