Job Title: Spanish Language Expert – Interview Panelist

Location: Remote/Flexible

Type: Freelance/Contract

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Spanish Language Expert to join us as a panelist for candidate interviews. The ideal individual will bring a high level of fluency in Spanish and English and possess a keen eye for detail in content review, translation, and localization. As a language specialist, your insights and feedback will play a key role in evaluating candidate proficiency, accuracy, and cultural relevance in both written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Conduct interviews with potential candidates to assess their Spanish language proficiency.
Evaluate candidates’ translation skills from English to Spanish and vice versa.
Provide structured feedback and assessment reports post-interview.
Assess candidates on grammar, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and cultural relevance.
Align interview assessments with the project-specific language requirements.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to improve the candidate selection process.

Ideal Candidate ProfileEducation:

Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Linguistics, Translation Studies, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:

4 to 5 years of professional experience in Spanish content review, translation, or a related role.
Prior experience in interviewing or evaluating language professionals is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
Strong grammar, vocabulary, and contextual understanding of both languages.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word & Excel).
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to assess content for tone, consistency, and cultural appropriateness.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
