Apart from tree plantation, we actively collaborate with schools, institutions, hospitals, and businesses for CSR initiatives, crowdfunding, and social media campaigns to enhance our outreach.
Internship Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Human Resources (HR) Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and HR operations within a nonprofit organization. The selected candidate will play a key role in identifying the right talent for various positions at Leaf and Life Foundation, ensuring that we bring onboard committed and enthusiastic individuals who align with our mission.
Upon successful completion of the 3-month internship, candidates will receive a Letter of Recommendation and a Certification of Completion. Based on performance and dedication, interns will also have the opportunity to transition into a paid HR role within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Identify, source, and recruit potential candidates for different positions within the organization.
• Job Posting & Promotion: Create and post job descriptions on various platforms, including LinkedIn, job portals, and social media.
• Screening & Shortlisting: Review applications, conduct initial screenings, and shortlist candidates based on their qualifications and suitability.
• Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews with potential candidates and respective department heads.
• Onboarding & Orientation: Assist in onboarding new team members, ensuring they are well-integrated into the organization.
• HR Documentation & Database Management: Maintain and update records of employees, interns, and volunteers.
• Employee Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance motivation, participation, and satisfaction among volunteers and employees.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the performance of new hires during their probationary period.
• Support CSR & HR Initiatives: Collaborate with the team to support various corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects and HR-driven initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills Required
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proactive and enthusiastic about learning new HR strategies.
• Basic knowledge of recruitment platforms and HR tools is a plus.
• Passionate about environmental conservation and sustainability.
