98thPercentile offers online, after-school, enrichment, and acceleration programs in Math, English (Reading & Writing), Coding, and Public Speaking for Grades K to 12 students.

Our enrichment programs are designed to enhance your child’s overall academic development.

We are looking for a dedicated Coding teacher to join our 98thPercentile family.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

• Engaging Instruction: The teacher should create a dynamic and interactive learning environment to actively engage the students. This can be done through a variety of methods, such as using visual aids, multimedia presentations, interactive coding exercises, and real-world examples. The teacher should encourage participation and foster discussions to keep students interested and motivated throughout the lessons.
• Effective Communication: An excellent online coding teacher needs strong communication skills to explain complex coding concepts clearly and concisely. They should be able to adapt their teaching style to suit the individual learning needs of each student in the small group. Providing timely and constructive feedback is essential to help students understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
• Problem-Solving Focus: The teacher should emphasize problem-solving skills and encourage students to think critically when approaching coding challenges. They can guide students through the process of breaking down complex problems into manageable parts, exploring different strategies, and developing logical solutions. By fostering a problem-solving mindset, the teacher can help students become independent coders capable of tackling new challenges.
• Cultivating Critical Thinking: Apart from coding skills, the teacher should foster critical thinking abilities in students. This involves encouraging students to analyze coding problems from different perspectives, evaluate multiple solutions, and make informed decisions. By promoting critical thinking, the teacher helps students develop a deeper understanding of coding principles and the ability to apply them creatively.
• Technological Proficiency: An excellent online coding teacher should be well-versed in the latest coding technologies, tools, and programming languages. They should stay updated with industry trends and developments, ensuring that they can provide relevant and up-to-date instruction to their students. The teacher should also be comfortable with online teaching platforms, collaboration tools, and resources to facilitate effective online coding lessons.

 

Working Timings

REGULAR-

 

Weekdays(Tues-frid) – 03:30am – 09:30 am (5 slots)

Weekends(Saturday-Sunday) – 08:30 pm – 12:30 am(4 slots)

Catch-ups OR PTM – 04:30 am – 08:30 am

 

DAY_LIGHT SAVING-

 

Weekdays(Tues-frid) – 02:30am – 08:30 am (5 slots)

Weekends(Saturday-Sunday) – 07:30 pm – 11:30 pm(4 slots)

Catch-ups OR PTM – 04:30 am – 08:30 am

Daylight saving starts on Second Sunday in march and ends on first Sunday in November

 

Preferred Skills:

· Ability to engage your students

· 1 year of online teaching experience

· Scaffold challenging concepts

· Ability to use and troubleshoot technology

Mandatory to have:

· It is mandatory to have a laptop with good wi-fi connectivity.

· Digital pen-tablet.

Salary: up to 40K per month + Incentives up to 80K
