Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Anchor Intern to join our media team. This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about broadcasting, journalism, and public speaking. As an anchor intern, you will assist with live broadcasts, interviews, and news presentations, gaining hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of media. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in live news broadcasts, interviews, and special segments.
• Research and prepare materials for on-air presentations.
• Collaborate with producers, editors, and other team members to ensure smooth broadcasts.
• Participate in scriptwriting and storyboarding for segments.
• Conduct interviews and communicate effectively with guests on the show.
• Help with post-production tasks, including reviewing footage and providing feedback.
• Stay updated on current events and contribute ideas for news stories.
• Engage with the audience during live broadcasts and through social media platforms.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Broadcasting: Basic understanding of television, radio, or online broadcasting.
• Public Speaking: Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Research: Ability to research current events and trends.
• Content Creation: Knowledge of video/audio editing tools (a plus but not mandatory).

Additional Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro (optional).
• Familiarity with social media platforms for audience engagement.
• Basic knowledge of camera operation or lighting techniques (a plus).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Confidence in front of a camera and a natural speaking style.
• Strong research and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Prior experience in hosting, anchoring, or public speaking (preferred but not required).
• Freshers with a passion for media and broadcasting are encouraged to apply.
