Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) Trainer to lead our training programs and mentor aspiring business development professionals. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in BDR roles and a passion for coaching and upskilling talent. You will design and deliver structured training sessions, guiding participants on business development strategies, lead generation, outreach techniques, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Engaging Training: Conduct interactive remote training sessions for aspiring BDRs, covering topics like lead generation, prospecting, cold outreach, sales funnels, and CRM tools.
Curriculum Development: Design and update training materials, case studies, role-plays, and real-world scenarios to enhance learning.
Coaching & Mentorship: Provide one-on-one mentorship, feedback, and career guidance to trainees.
Assessments & Performance Tracking: Evaluate trainees' progress through assignments, role-play exercises, and live simulations.
Industry Insights: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in business development and incorporate them into training.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Groviia team to improve course effectiveness and tailor training to industry needs.
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), or a similar role.
Training Experience: Prior experience in coaching, mentoring, or training BDRs is preferred.
Sales & Outreach Expertise: Strong knowledge of lead generation tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, etc.), cold calling, email outreach, and CRM software.
Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills to engage trainees effectively.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using remote training platforms, CRM tools, and sales automation software.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and adapt training to different learning styles.
