Job Description

Position: Senior Education Counsellor

Mode: Full-time & On-site

Salary: Negotiable (Depends on your experience, expertise, commitments and performances)

Experience required: 3 year ( Minimum)

*Candidates who have experience in overseas education and located in Chennai can only apply

Responsibilities:

# Provide personalized guidance and support to students seeking to study abroad

# Conduct in-depth consultations to assess students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals

# Offer expert advice on study options, universities, programs, and destinations based on individual preferences and qualifications

# Navigate students through the entire application process, including university selection, application submission, and visa procurement

# Stay abreast of international education trends, admission requirements, visa regulations, and cultural considerations

# Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery

# Mentor and train junior counsellors, sharing expertise and best practices

Qualifications:

# Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

# Minimum of 4 years of experience in educational counselling, preferably in the field of overseas education

# Deep understanding of international education systems, admission procedures, and visa processes

# Proven track record of successfully guiding students through the study abroad journey

# Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students and families from diverse backgrounds

# Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail

# Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality
